The Dignity Project supports the households our children comes from. This project runs throughout the year.

Restoring their households to live in dignity.

Demographics: We work within areas such as Durbanville, Brackenfell, Kraaifontein, Bellville, Parow, Elsiesriver and Athlone.

Amongst so many things our children could ask for, they very often just want to look good among their peers. And this often includes look great at school. We help in this regard as well.

The effort: Donations are stored in our personal garage and at time, we need to hire trailers to take donations to affected areas. We often have to remove unwanted items from households and take it to the scrapyard.

What we do:

  • We mobilise support from the community and corporates to assist us with household needs.

  • We supply children with school clothes, toiletries and stationery.

  • We meet with school principals and teachers to reconsider/ allowing children back into school.

  • We facilitate relationships among relatives in the household and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

What we need:

  • All equipment associated with Painting a house, solving plumbing and electrical needs, leveling and cleaning the premises around the house, fixing windows and doors, installing cupboards, shelves and tiles, etc.
